Pikkart-AR Industry 4.0 is software assisting the operator in quality control and training procedures through image recognition and an augmented reality interface. The software uses artificial vision algorithms to recognise the object of interest and connects to the company information system to show information that is useful to the operator. An AR interface reports the data in the simplest, clearest manner for the operator, so as to facilitate his work, reducing time and increasing the reliability and scalability of guided processes. The operator can use smartglasses, tablets or a station equipped with a display to interact with the system.
The solution assists the operator with piece control, showing in augmented reality the checks to be performed, the tools to be used, the sequence of actions necessary to complete the task and the data obtained from IoT sensors. By recognising the piece, perfect visual alignment is assured between it and the virtual contents. The solution can also be used during the defect reporting, simplifying interaction with the piece to be controlled. Through augmented reality, the presence can also be simulated of a mechanical piece in front of you (training, prototyping), for example to display reports, statistics or prepare presentations.
