Innovation District
INNOVATION DISTRICT is a special project at TECNA, a new exhibition area and a laboratory of ideas that aims to bring together the latest innovations and trends in the field of Industry 4.0 and to ensure continuity with the process of innovation undertaken by the manufacturing industry.
Organized by Italian Exhibition Group, in collaboration with ACIMAC, with the support of ICE - Italian Trade Agency and Tecnopolo di Rimini, and with ANGI as Main Partner, the Innovation District is a project dedicated to Italian and international start-ups, innovative SMEs and innovators.
The Innovation District offers a prestigious exhibition area created to give a voice to innovators and tell the success stories of innovative start-ups. This space promotes collaboration between large companies, institutions and opinion leaders, creating connections that foster dialogue and synergies between industry players, nationally and internationally.
THE FORMAT
An innovative area designed to offer a comprehensive and engaging experience for visitors and the press, specifically:
- "Innovation" pathway: where exhibitors at the fair can give visibility to their innovative products and compete for the Lorenzo Cagnoni Innovation Award;
- "Start-up" pathway: dedicated to emerging start-ups, innovative SMEs that have developed unique and cutting-edge solutions for Industry 4.0;
- "Networking and Education" pathway: agora conferences with focus on the training needed for such industry and discussion of ideas to create new business and networking opportunities;
- "Talk" pathway: interview corner to gather all the testimonies of the innovative realities present within the innovation area and among the main stakeholders of the exhibition event
NEWS 2024
In this edition, the Innovation District will focus on excellence and meritocracy through prizes dedicated to the best start-ups with innovative products, solutions and services covering the product sectors represented by TECNA.
The following will be awarded:
- "Innovative Start-up Award Lorenzo Cagnoni" reserved for the 20 selected start-ups selected throught the Call for Start-Up&Scale-Up at the fair that will have distinguished themselves for highly innovative projects;
The projects will be assessed by the Evaluation Committee formed by IEG and the initiative's network of partners.
- The ‘Green Jobs & Skills’ project focuses on the need to involve the new generations, who are already very aware, by making them an active part of the labour market and economic sectors related to sustainability, but also aims to help companies that have always been part of the network.
